About EVO FINISH
One car a day. Done right.
We take on just one vehicle per day, on purpose. Paint correction and ceramic coating can’t be rushed, and giving each car the whole day means it gets our full attention from start to finish.
Why only one car a day
- No shortcuts on prep. Every job gets a full wash, decontamination and paint readings before any polishing starts. That prep is what makes a correction and coating last.
- Time to correct properly. Polishing is done panel by panel at the pace your paint needs, not the pace of a schedule.
- Time for the coating to do its job. Your coating is applied carefully and given time to level and set, then every panel is inspected under proper lighting before we hand back your keys.
- Your car is the only car. No juggling other jobs, no rushing to the next appointment.
Your choice of coating
We install three coatings: SkyGlide Aviation Ceramic, our signature, plus trusted automotive brands Gyeon and Gtechniq. Pick the one you prefer when you book, or let us recommend one.
Why SkyGlide aviation-grade ceramic
Most shops use automotive coatings. SkyGlide stands out because it’s engineered for aircraft, which face intense UV, big temperature swings, high-speed airflow, fuel and exhaust. That same protection holds up to what cars see in the mountains and on the road: sun at altitude, snow, road salt, tree sap and grime. The result is a slick, glossy finish that stays easier to clean for longer.
SkyGlide is built for harsh conditions, but like every ceramic coating, it isn’t a one-and-done fix. Snow, road salt, grit and everyday washing wear down any coating over time, whether it’s SkyGlide, Gyeon or Gtechniq. That’s why every EVO FINISH coating comes with a maintenance plan: a maintenance wash every 4 weeks and a booster application every 3 months. Following the plan is what keeps your coating performing for its full term.
Each coating is maintained with its own brand’s products. SkyGlide is cared for the same way aircraft are, using SkyGlide’s aviation care line, which is far different from how cars with automotive coatings are usually maintained. Gyeon and Gtechniq are maintained with their own automotive care products.
Coating lifespan depends on following the recommended maintenance schedule. Read the care guides
Care guides
Your coating is done. Each coating brand is cared for differently, so open the guide for yours. We text you your guide after every coating, and you can come back to it anytime.
- Maintenance wash every 4 weeks and a booster every 3 months, using your coating brand’s own products.
- SkyGlide, Gyeon and Gtechniq all wear down over time without regular care.
Coating lifespan depends on following the recommended maintenance schedule.
Glass, wheels and trim
- Glass (Gtechniq G1): clean with a gentle glass cleaner and microfiber. Avoid abrasive cleaners, and replace worn wiper blades so they don’t streak.
- Wheels (CarPro CQuartz DLUX): use a pH-neutral wheel cleaner and a soft brush. Avoid acid-based wheel cleaners.
- Trim (Gtechniq C4): wash with your regular pH-neutral shampoo. Avoid solvent-based or greasy trim dressings.
Tahoe winters
- Rinse off road salt, sand and mag chloride often, including wheels, lower panels and the undercarriage.
- Brush snow off gently with a soft snow brush. Never scrape the paint.
- Don’t pour hot water on frozen glass or paint.
SkyGlide care guide
SkyGlide is an aviation-grade coating, so we maintain it the same way we maintain aircraft. That’s far different from how cars with automotive coatings are usually cared for, and it keeps SkyGlide performing for its full term.
- Maintenance wash every 4 weeks keeps the surface clean so the coating performs at its best.
- Booster every 3 months with SkyGlide’s aviation care products tops up gloss, slickness and water beading.
- Opt in to text reminders when you book, or text 925-383-1745, and we’ll let you know when each is due.
Coating lifespan depends on following this schedule. Like every ceramic coating, it won’t last its full term without proper care.
First 24 hours
- Keep your vehicle dry, garaged if possible. Avoid rain, snow, sprinklers and dew while the coating cures.
- Don’t touch or wipe the paint, and avoid puddles or slush if you can.
- If water lands on it, gently blot it dry with a clean microfiber towel. Don’t rub.
First 7 days
- No washing with soap or chemicals while the coating finishes curing.
- Remove bird droppings, bugs or tree sap right away with plain water and a soft microfiber towel.
- Don’t apply waxes, sealants, quick detailers or any other products yet.
Every SkyGlide 3-Year and 5-Year coating comes with a care kit, handed to you when your job is complete: SkyGlide Aircraft Rinseless Wash and SkyGlide Aircraft Quick Detailer, the same aviation care products we use. Here’s how to use them. Wait until your coating’s first 7 days are over, and always follow the directions on the bottle.
How to use SkyGlide Rinseless Wash
A no-hose wash for routine cleaning between visits. It lifts dirt with high lubrication and leaves a streak-free finish.
- Work in the shade on a cool panel. Not in direct sun or on a hot surface.
- If the car has heavy mud, salt or sand, rinse that off with water first so it isn’t dragged across the paint.
- Have at least 4–6 clean, plush microfiber towels ready. Fold each one into quarters so you get 8 clean sides.
- Spray one panel generously, starting at the roof and working down. Let it sit for a few seconds to loosen the dirt.
- Wipe gently in straight lines with light pressure. Lift the dirt off the paint instead of scrubbing. Turn to a fresh side of the towel after each pass.
- Buff the panel dry right away with a second clean, dry microfiber towel.
- Repeat panel by panel. Do the lower panels and bumpers last, and use separate towels for wheels.
- If you have the gallon concentrate, mix it with distilled water at the ratio on the label. SkyGlide lists 1 part concentrate to 30 parts distilled water.
How to use SkyGlide Quick Detailer
Made to maintain ceramic coatings. It adds UV protection, boosts slickness and gloss, and helps with drying.
- Use it after every wash, on a clean panel.
- Mist 2–3 sprays on one panel, or onto a folded microfiber towel.
- Spread it evenly over the panel with light pressure.
- Flip to a clean, dry side and buff until it’s streak-free and glossy.
- As a drying aid: mist it onto a still-damp panel after washing, then dry with your towel for a slicker, spot-free finish.
- Great for quick touch-ups too, like light dust, fingerprints or fresh water spots. Never use it on a gritty or muddy surface. Wash first.
Towel care
- Wash microfiber separately in warm water with a microfiber or free-and-clear detergent.
- No fabric softener or dryer sheets. They clog the fibers and cause streaks.
- Air dry or tumble dry on low. Toss any towel that’s been dropped on the ground.
Washing the aviation way
- Use SkyGlide’s rinseless and waterless wash products with plush microfiber, instead of typical car shampoos.
- Work one panel at a time, top to bottom, with light pressure and a fresh side of the towel for each panel.
- If the car is caked in winter salt or mud, gently rinse off the heavy grime first so it doesn’t get dragged across the paint.
After every wash
- Finish with SkyGlide Aircraft Quick Detailer. It’s built to maintain the coating, adds UV protection and helps with drying.
- Remove bugs and stubborn grime with SkyGlide Bug Cleaner, which is safe on the coating.
What to avoid
- Automotive waxes, sealants and spray coatings, unless we recommend them. They sit on top and cover up SkyGlide’s own protection.
- Automatic car washes with brushes or harsh chemicals.
- Strong degreasers, dish soap, acidic or alkaline cleaners, and all-purpose cleaners on paint.
- Polishes, compounds, clay bars or abrasive products, which wear the coating away.
- Letting bird droppings, sap, bugs or hard-water spots sit in the sun.
Tahoe winters
- Rinse off road salt, sand and mag chloride often, including wheels, lower panels and the undercarriage.
- Brush snow off gently with a soft snow brush. Never scrape the paint.
- Don’t pour hot water on frozen glass or paint.
Gyeon care guide
Gyeon is a professional automotive ceramic. It’s maintained with Gyeon’s own pH-neutral shampoo and ceramic boosters. Gyeon coatings take about two weeks to fully cure, so treat the first days gently.
- Maintenance wash every 4 weeks keeps the surface clean so the coating performs at its best.
- Booster every 3 months with Gyeon Q²M Cure or WetCoat tops up gloss, slickness and water beading.
- Opt in to text reminders when you book, or text 925-383-1745, and we’ll let you know when each is due.

- Wash in the shade, on cool panels, never in direct hot sun.
- Rinse first to remove loose dirt, then wash with Gyeon Bathe or Bathe+ (or any pH-neutral shampoo) using the two-bucket method and a clean microfiber mitt.
- Wash top to bottom, rinse well, and dry right away with a plush drying towel or a blower.
After washes and boosting
- Top up with Gyeon Q²M Cure or WetCoat to boost gloss and water beading.
- Gyeon Ceramic Detailer is great between washes for light dust and fingerprints.
What to avoid
- Most waxes, which can contain solvents that affect the coating.
- Automatic car washes with brushes or harsh chemicals.
- Strong degreasers, dish soap, acidic or alkaline cleaners, and all-purpose cleaners on paint.

Gtechniq care guide
Gtechniq is a professional automotive ceramic. It’s maintained with Gtechniq’s own shampoo, quick detailer and ceramic sealant booster.
- Maintenance wash every 4 weeks keeps the surface clean so the coating performs at its best.
- Booster every 3 months with Gtechniq C2v3 Liquid Crystal tops up gloss, slickness and water beading.
- Opt in to text reminders when you book, or text 925-383-1745, and we’ll let you know when each is due.

Our policies
Simple, fair rules so every booking goes smoothly. Tap a topic to read it.
Deposits
A 20% deposit of your starting estimate is required to book and holds your date. Because we take only one car per day, your deposit reserves the whole day for your vehicle. Jobs that take 2 days reserve both days.
The deposit is applied to your final price. The balance is due when the work is complete, and you can pay it on our website under Pay your balance.
You can also choose to pay in full when you book. Cancellation terms then apply to the 20% deposit portion only, and anything paid above it is refunded in full. If your final price changes after the walk-around, with your OK, we refund or bill the difference.
Cancellations, rescheduling and cancellation fee
- One date change per booking. You can move your appointment one time at no charge. After that, a second change is treated as a cancellation under the terms below.
- 7 or more days’ notice: full refund of your deposit, or use your one free date change.
- 2 to 7 days’ notice: use your one free date change and keep your deposit toward the new date. If you cancel instead, a $100 cancellation fee is kept and the rest of your deposit is refunded.
- Less than 48 hours’ notice or no-show: the full deposit is kept as a cancellation fee.
To cancel or reschedule, text or call 925-383-1745. Notice is counted from when we receive your message.
Refunds
Deposit refunds follow the cancellation terms above and are returned to your original payment method through PayPal, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
If we need to cancel for any reason, you can choose a new date or a full refund of your deposit.
Weather
Ceramic coating needs dry conditions and the right temperature to bond and cure. If rain, snow, wind or cold makes it unsafe for your coating, we’ll contact you to move your appointment at no charge, or refund your deposit if you prefer.
Final price and the walk-around
Online prices are starting rates for paint in typical condition. We confirm your final price at a short walk-around before any work begins.
If your paint needs more work than you booked and you decide not to go ahead at the new price, your deposit is refunded in full.
Vehicle condition and existing damage
Paint correction improves swirls, haze and light scratches, but can’t fix rock chips, deep scratches through the clear coat, rust, dents, or failing or repainted clear coat. We’ll point out anything like this at the walk-around.
Please remove personal items and valuables before your appointment. We’re not responsible for items left in the vehicle or for damage that existed before your service.
Service location
We come to your home or garage and arrive at 7:00 AM. A covered space may be needed to coat your vehicle in cold, wet or windy weather. We’ll confirm your setup when we confirm your date.
Coating care and what to expect
Ceramic coatings add gloss, repel water and make cleaning easier, but they are not scratch-proof and don’t prevent rock chips.
- Keep your vehicle dry, garaged if possible, for 24 hours after coating.
- Avoid washing your vehicle for the first 7 days while the coating cures.
- Use a pH-neutral car soap and avoid automatic car washes with brushes.
- For best results, book a maintenance wash every 4 weeks and a booster spray every 3 months.
- Coating lifespan depends on following the recommended maintenance schedule. Like any ceramic, SkyGlide won’t last its full term without proper care.
How long a coating lasts depends on how it’s cared for. We text you our full care guide after your coating.
